Well if you are reading this; then it is apparent to you that our Website has finally come to light for the world to see. I have to start out by Thanking the great group of guys and gals down at "NETMINISTRY.COM" and say if you need a website or update and old one; get a hold of Stacey and she is a wealth of knowledge and help. And what she don't know, you can bet someone on staff there has the answer.
Now this was not started to be a commercial for "Net Ministry" but we should give credit where credit is due. Agreed! The Bible teaches us that we should do just that; look at Romans 13:7 "Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor."
"Honor to whom Honor belongs" Honor is defined as: a source of credit or distinction. You see it is not in my realm of understanding, to build and publish websites. So I have to look for someone who has that abilities. John Donne a Christian Poet & Writer; coined this popular phrase "No Man is an Island" in his 1624 Mediation 17.
No man is an island,
Entire of itself,
Every man is a piece of the continent,
A part of the main.
If a clod be washed away by the sea,
Europe is the less.
With all of that being said we as people need each other; we need other human interaction. Just as in this case I could not have accomplished "calvarylakeway.org" without other people. We at Calvary Lakeway know and understand that we cannot accomplish our mission individually but as a group that spans the Globe. We go about the work of God in unity seeking to work with and rely on one another for the fulfillment of the Great Commission. As we do this we must "Give Credit Where Credit is Due".
So I would like to start by Thanking the following persons and Groups with out them Calvary Lakeway would still just be a Dream!
Doug Ford and the fellowship of Calvary Chapel Sweetwater, TN;
Mark Kirk and the fellowship of Calvary Chapel Knoxville, TN;
Kenneth Gillespie, Pastor, Brother, Friend, & Father;
Jason Brown, Brother & Friend...
and all those who have stood behind this ministry and me. Thank you!
But most of all to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, all the Thanks and Glory is yours!
