Mr. Whosoever
Jesus said he came so that we may have life and life in abundance. What does that look like?
Mr. Whosoever
The Word says on earth as it is in heaven. We are Gods Kingdom since the King lives in us. God is a very elaborate God. So as long as we aren't focused selfishly doesn't God want us to have the desires of our heart? Does He not want us to be and have the best of the best? Doesn't he want our lives to be appealing to those who aren't yet saved?
Steve Gillespie
To start off we must first understand; God's ways are NOT our ways and what we think is NOT always what Gods thinks or wants us to think for that matter. (For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways, says the LORD. Isaiah 55:8)
So why do I or did I start with that? What does the Abundant Life have to do with our ways and thoughts vs. God's ways and thoughts?
Simply put; What we (mankind) consider the Abundant Life and how God sees it can be vary different. Of course not always, but we MUST understand that first and foremost. Jesus indeed came into this world to Give us LIFE and to Give it to us with more abundance!!!! I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. John 10:10b
So then; what does that life look like? I believe to the very depths of my soul it is a Life of Contentment, a Life of Love, a Life of peace, and most importantly a Life of Hope. I can also tell you what it is not; it is not a life of wealth, it is not a life of fame, and it is not a life free of hardships. With that being said understand this you can and may have wealth, but that is not the Abundant Life. You can and may have fame, but that is not the Abundant Life. You make it through life without hardships (doubtful), but again that is not the Abundant Life.
